The Texas Star Awards is the pinnacle mark of professional achievement
and the highest honor a Texas event professional can earn.
The Texas Star Awards is a globally recognized awards competition designed to honor the exceptional professional achievements of individuals and organizations from the live events industry. Awards will honor work done in the special events industry for events produced between November 1, 2019 and October 31, 2021.
The awards program is produced by the Texas Chapters of the International Live Events Association (ILEA). The Dallas Chapter of ILEA manages the process of the award submissions and judging.
The Awards Gala travels from chapter to chapter each year.
In 2022, the Dallas Chapter of ILEA will be hosting the Awards Gala.
$75 Early Bird Submission Date (EXTENDED): January 30, 2022
$100 Extended Deadline Submission Date (EXTENDED): February 20, 2022
WHO CAN ENTER?
Any person working in the events industry is eligible to enter the Texas Star Awards competition provided that the entrant(s) are active members in the Texas events industry or the event submitted was hosted in Texas. An entrant can submit more than one event for consideration or submit to multiple categories.
ENTRY TYPES
1) Single Entry
An entry type for a single entrant. Single entries can be submitted into any TSA category except the Best Team Effort Categories.
2) Joint Entry
An entry type that can be entered when two event professionals were instrumental in the implementation of an event. Each entrant can be from the same or separate companies. Joint submissions can be entered into any category except the Best ILEA Team Effort Categories. Each ILEA entrant must pay the $75.00 USD (or $100.00 extended submission) entry fee.
3) Team Entry
A team category consists of 3 or more team members who participated in planning and executing the event. Team submissions can only be entered in the Best Team Effort Categories. Each entrant must pay the $75.00 USD (or $100.00 extended submission) entry fee.

BUDGET
Any category name that includes a monetary element will require a budget. A budget template for each category is available in the Texas Star Awards online portal. The template must be used in the TSA Awards submission.
